On November 30th 1939 Soviet Union attacked Finland, initiating the Winter War

According to the secret protocol of Molotov-Ribbentrop pact, Finland was in Soviet sphere of influence (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molotov%…
Even though Finnish strength was far less powerfull than Soviet (2-3x less men; Tanks 32:2,5-6,5k; aircraft 114:3880), the Red army suffered heavy losses (~26k:126,8k dead).
In the result, Finland lost ~1/10 of it's territory, but remained independent.

In the honour of a (not so) small but brave nation.

The gun on the picture is Mosin-Nagant 1891, the most commonly used in the Winter war.
Being a girl made it hard to draw a rifle Don't blame me for details :'D

Yeah, yeah! I know. The Red army didn't had such red coats (their uniform wasn't red at all otherwise they would be even more noticable on the snow ). This is just... symbolical
