After so many years of looking for an alternative platform for artists I have finally returned to Deviantart. My friends and those who followed me on Instagram know, how much I used to whine about it, and how much I missed DeviantArt. No matter what websites I've tried, nothing felt right: Doodle Addicts was nice, but not popular. ArtStation felt too professional and thus too frightening for someone like me. Instagram was popular and mainstream, but the never-ending fight with its algorithms was exhausting.. Then at some point I created my personal webpage. It gave me the freedom I was looking for - all the functions I needed: gallery, blogging, video sharing. I could almost emulate Deviantart functionality over there, but there was no community.. And so I wandered around like a homeless person, having no base to return to. It was taking so much of my time and mental resources. But now I feel like I have finally found peace. Even if that's not the best option, after I have finally
